TrailMark — Offline Hiking GPS

Designed an offline-first hiking tracker in Kotlin and Jetpack Compose. Map tiles and elevation data are pre-downloaded and served from a Room database, so the map, route, and stats all work with the phone in airplane mode. A foreground service records the GPS track with aggressive battery tuning, and finished hikes sync to the cloud the moment signal returns.
